VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
RADIO-TELEMETRY OF RATS IN A RIPARIAN FOREST
Do you need some field experience? Are you interested in learning more about conservation issues? If you answered yes to these questions, then I'd love to hear from you. In the Cosumnes River Preserve (30min south of Sacramento), I am conducting a study of the home range and habitat utilization of roof rats (Rattus rattus). Over the next few months, my rat research team will be spending a day and an entire night following 16 rats through the forest. No previous experience is necessary.
