Undergraduate Students
The waterfowl program has been extremely successful in engaging undergraduate students in research on waterfowl populations in California. Through 2003, over 80 undergraduate students have participated in field and lab work, often returning for several years, and gaining valuable research skills. These students include 8 Senior Research Students, who developed and worked on independent research projects. Many of these undergraduate students have gone on to become graduate students in the waterfowl program.
