Research:
Dr. Ringelman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Ringelman is an avian ecologist with a research specialization in North American waterfowl, which are among the best studied group of
birds in the world and a model system in avian ecology and applied conservation. He is broadly interested in using field research to link individual-level processes to population- and community-level outcomes to advance both our understanding of ecological linkages and to inform conservation actions. Dr. Ringelman has research projects throughout North America that address breeding, migratory, and wintering periods for waterfowl and other wetland-dependent bird species.
